1. Who this covers

This policy covers salontemplate.com — the marketing site you're on now. Our live demo at demo.salontemplate.com is a separate WordPress installation with its own standard WordPress/WooCommerce technical cookies (session handling, shopping cart state) — those are covered in section 5 below, not the marketing site's own tracking, because it has none.

2. Data collected via the contact form

The contact form on this site collects your name, email address, a selected reason for contacting us, and your message. When you submit it, that data is sent directly to our inbox via FormSubmit.co, a third-party form-delivery service — we don't run our own server to process this. FormSubmit only relays the message to hello@salontemplate.com; we don't use it for anything beyond that single email.

We keep contact form submissions in our email inbox to respond to you and for our own records of past conversations. We don't sell, rent, or share this data with anyone else.

3. Data collected when you purchase

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record — they, not us, collect and store your payment details (card number, billing address, etc.) directly, under their own privacy policy. We receive your name, email, and order details from Lemon Squeezy so we can deliver your license and provide support if you contact us — we never see or store your full payment/card information ourselves.

4. Cookies and tracking on this site

salontemplate.com itself does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. We don't run Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, or similar tools on this site as of the date at the top of this page. If that ever changes, this page will be updated to reflect it before any such tool goes live.

5. The live demo site (demo.salontemplate.com)

Our live demo runs on actual WordPress + WooCommerce software, which sets its own standard technical cookies to make the site function — for example, session cookies and shopping cart cookies when you try the booking widget. These are functional cookies required for the demo to work, not tracking or advertising cookies, and they're set by WordPress/WooCommerce's own code, not anything we've added on top.

6. Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (e.g. contact form submissions) at any time by emailing hello@salontemplate.com. For purchase/payment data, Lemon Squeezy is the data controller for that information — you may need to contact them directly for requests specific to payment records they hold.

If you're in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR (access, correction, deletion, and more); if you're in California, you have rights under the CCPA. We'll honor legitimate requests regardless of which specific law applies to you.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes — the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
