Terms of Service & License

Last updated: September 16, 2026

The short version: buying Salon Suite gives you a license to use the theme and plugin on one live website. You get the full source code, but you can't resell, redistribute, or relicense it as your own product. Everything below is the full version of that.

1. What you're buying

Salon Suite is a digital product consisting of the "Salon Suite" WordPress theme and the "Salon Booking Suite" WordPress plugin (together, the "Software"), delivered as downloadable files. There is no physical product and nothing is shipped.

The Software depends on free third-party plugins — Elementor and WooCommerce — which are not part of this purchase and are governed by their own respective licenses and terms, available from their own publishers.

2. License grant

Subject to payment, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Install and use the Software on a single end product (one website), for yourself or a client you're building the site for.
  • Modify the Software's code for your own use on that one website.

The theme and plugin's own PHP code is licensed under the GPLv2 (or later), consistent with WordPress's own licensing — see the LICENSE.txt file included with each download for the full GPL text. Bundled non-code assets (images, icons, and similar) are licensed for use only as part of the Software, not for standalone reuse or redistribution.

3. What you may not do

  • Resell, redistribute, or share the Software's files (or a modified version of them) as a standalone product, whether for free or for payment.
  • Use one purchase across multiple unrelated end products/websites without buying additional licenses.
  • Remove or claim authorship of the Software as your own original work.
  • Use the Software in any way that violates applicable law.

If you're a developer or agency building sites for multiple different clients, each client's site needs its own license.

4. Updates & support

Your purchase includes 6 months of updates and email support from the date of purchase, covering bug fixes and compatibility updates. Custom feature requests, one-on-one setup help, or work beyond what's documented in the install guide are handled separately — see the "Need Something Custom?" option on the pricing page or contact us for a quotation.

Support and updates are not guaranteed to continue indefinitely past the included period, though we aim to keep the Software compatible with current WordPress, Elementor, and WooCommerce releases on a reasonable best-effort basis.

5. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every hosting environment, theme, or plugin combination.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Salon Suite and its authors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Software, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Software is limited to the amount you actually paid for your license.

7. Refunds

See the separate Refund Policy for when refunds are and aren't available.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time — the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the Software after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Contact
